                                                                                                   I try to combine the linear qualities of Yan Zhen-
                                                                                                   Qin and Huang Ting-jian, and the swift agility
                                                                                                   of Yang Ning-shi’s “Immortal’s Daily Practices”
                                                                                                   and the elegance of Bada Shanren, while also
                                                                                                   referencing the cursive script elements by
                                                                                                   renowned calligraphers in the Qing and Ming
                                                                                                   dynasties. I also added in a touch of my own
                                                                                                   style. The small-font inscription in the bottom
                                                                                                   left corner is a way to mitigate the wild rhythm
                                                                                                   of the cursive script, while also helping viewers
                                                                                                   to read the text so they can appreciate not just the
                                                                                                   dynamic movements of the strokes but also the
                                                                                                   meaning of the text.
