作品說明 Description

臺灣街景的「混亂」為獨特文化語彙。鐵
皮屋色塊、冷氣機械節奏、招牌的視覺喧
嘩因真實反映庶民需求而充滿生命力，出
於生存的創意有其歷史脈絡與意涵，在地 Short List
美感來自務實生活需求、時代變遷的應
變，原建築加蓋、改建使房屋成記憶的容
器。每棟房子獨立又彼此連結，如臺灣人
與土地的關係：複雜無法切割。這「非正
式美學」正是臺灣街屋的靈魂。
The “chaos” of Taiwanese street scenes is a
unique cultural language. The color blocks of
corrugated iron roofs, the rhythmic patterns of
air conditioning units, and the visual clamour
of signs all vibrantly reflect the real needs of
everyday people. This creativity born from
survival carries historical context and meaning.
The local aesthetic emerges from practical life
demands and adaptive responses to changing
times. Original buildings expanded and
remodeled become vessels of memory. Each
house stands independently yet connects with
others, much like the complex, inseparable
relationship between Taiwanese people and
their land. This “informal aesthetics” is precisely
the soul of Taiwan’s street houses
