This year, the meaning of this couplet has
intrigued me, as if I were living in it. Perhaps it is
because life is no longer busy, and I am ready to
move into the next stage in life! I try to fuse seal
and clerical scripts to write this large-font five-
character couplet, expressing through writing
the leisure sense of people, music instrument,
ink, pine tree, and bamboo, and an elegant and
primitive style of the past. I also hope to express
my peaceful state of mind, as I am thankful and
full of joy.
