                                                                                                                  Description
                                                                                                     I construct the spiritual sceneries of the city in my
                                                                                                     imagination. The reflection of the sea is like mirror and
                                                                                                     maze, revealing the diaspora of men and the endlessly
                                                                                                     drifting state of survival at the moment. As times change,
                                                                                                     identity and recognition of self-consciousness also change
                                                                                                     constantly. Are the minor changes on the surface of
                                                                                                     the earth and the movement of mankind/travelers just
                                                                                                     sceneries that make a brief stop in the physical space
                                                                                                     or instantaneous flows on a deeper level? The work
                                                                                                     leads viewers onto a trip, a trip inside everyone’s heart,
                                                                                                     to explore the combination with external experience,
                                                                                                     conjuring more ideas from deep inside, such as: travel,
                                                                                                     diaspora, foreign country, psychogeography, and
                                                                                                     heterotopia. Through sounds and languages on different
                                                                                                     levels (conversation, murmuring, soliloquy, life…), as
                                                                                                     well as perceptions on multiple levels, viewers can expand
                                                                                                     their horizons. Sounds and images guide viewers into a
                                                                                                     strange atmosphere and a kind of “uncanniness.” A sense
                                                                                                     of self-existence and privacy is constantly amplified, an
                                                                                                     experience of infinite feelings wandering between own
                                                                                                     consciousness and the world…
