Description
The thinking of “classical sculpture” and the
“Mono-ha” makes me reflect on the dialogic
relationship between materials and figurative
sculpture. From the logics of sculpture, I have
realized the dialogue with materials through the
physical dynamics of drilling and carving stone
and repeated process of emptying. The work is the
result of the dialogue; figurative or not, expression
or not, transformation or not, change in quality or
not, nothing is important anymore, as the process
of sculpting becomes a fully existent state. This
work is a kind of “result of dialogic relationship.”
