Description
Through the perspective of contemporary thinking,
the work reinterprets the story of Monkey King
before going on the journey to the West, and use
the story as the narrative background in an attempt
to form a contrast between past and present
through the Dragon King of East China Sea facing
east and Monkey King facing west, depicting the
transformation of Monkey King’s animal nature;
viewers are provided the omniscient perspective to
look at the work, allowing the work to completely
present the triangle relationship between Buddha,
Monkey King, and Dragon King.
