Description
Freud once said: “The things once possessed by
our mind will never disappear.” Regardless of joy
or sorrow, these internalized stories are souvenirs
of the past, only to appear in a different form.
These pieces of memory existing on the mental
dimension settle over time, becoming more precious
treasures. This work builds on past life experience,
incorporating “matches,” which come with unique
feelings, and draws into the work the hidden
emotions in them. These objects are like keys that
pick up and unlock sealed old memory, once again
connecting the past and present.
