Description
“Slack water is a short period in a body of tidal
water when there is almost no movement either
way in the tidal stream, which occurs before the
direction of the tidal stream reverses, in a strait,
channel, estuary, or narrow bay.” Facing future,
it seems that we are wandering on a fogy and vast
river; however, dangers rise out of water suddenly
like rolling hills. Even if tarot cards had foretold
the destiny, they could not calm the anxiety. We
can only take a brief breather, before facing the rise
and fall in life. The empty river and the magnificent
peaks and hills form a contrast as I try to depict the
shocking yet subdued visual field.
