͑͛ࢬ෤՟ҿ׵֝ᚆ˨ፋϼ࢕ཞኣٙᄻᄢdኽ͎ Immortal Garden is based on the ruins right next to
HONG Yong-Xin Father’s old home in Yilan. According to Mother, the
ፋᔷࠑdவࢭᄻᄢٙ˴ɛ̘˰ᎇʘᄻ૝fᄻᄢᎇ house was abandoned after the owner passed away,
͑͛ࢬ෤ ഹࠬєڠ૸஗ಔ஗ᔧႊdҖϓѰᕏ׵ᄻ૝ܔيʕ and after some time, the ruins became covered by
Immortal Garden vegetation, forming a garden at the center of the ruins.
112Ò150cm ːٙڀ෤dவࢭᄻᄢϓމҢഁϋઞᎈٙήᓃd̴ This ruins became a destination of adventure when
͑Ⴣ੭ഹᆓ᐀ٙɺᘎंࢹdӊϋઞૐவࢭڀ෤d I was young. It always has that moist smell of soil.
Every year when I visit the garden, the vegetation
ಔ஗ேһ̋߱ସəɓᓃdఱ྅˴ɛٙ͛նίவࢭ
grows denser, as if the life of the owner had been
ڀ෤஗ַᚃəɓছd̴ٙᎴߕၾઊ࿘d஫߈Ң extended by this garden. Its elegant beauty and
misery have woven through some twenty years of my
ɚɤεϋٙڏඊࣛගf
time coming back home.
