Description
Life”conveys the textures of feathers and
leaves. The artist believes that animals
are the source of Earth’s most beautiful
scenes. However, global warming and
the greenhouse effect have had a huge
impact on our environment, and created
the potential for disaster. Yang presents her
concern about the Earth and its ecological
systems. Leather-working techniques,
carving knives and surgery knives were the
main tools she used to create this work,
giving it a strong three-dimensional effect.
