Description
The Pitta nympha (fairy pitta) is a beautiful, but
endangered, bird. They are colorful sprites living
in the forest and, in Taiwan, are seen from late
April until early May. The artist would like to
provoke concern about environmental issues.
Hunting and collecting specimens is not the ideal
way of preserving the Pitta nympha. Rather, the
best way to help these birds is to protect them
from hunting.
