I have always had strong feelings for rainy days,
and kept many expressions and feelings of
emotions in the rain. Therefore, I use watercolor
as the medium to portray a scene in the rain. In
the painting, aside from creating atmosphere
with splashing water droplets, I also add my
personal expression of human warmth in rain.
Amidst the cold cityscape, there is a warm
and inviting lamppost, and a mother braving
the heavy rain to protect her child, guiding
the child towards the light and the way back
home.
