My mother's name was Chen Yueh-chin,
born in 1940, and passed away on August
20th, 2023. From childhood to adulthood,
except for a few years studying away, I never
left my mother's side. Even after I married
and had children, I went back every day.
My father passed away in December 1991,
leaving my mother a widow for over 30
years. I for sorry that my mom was all by
herself. Since her passing, I have always
missed her. In tribute to her memory, I have
poured my feelings into my work.
