The work depicts a blooming cactus
enveloped in thick smoke, presenting
a self- contradic ting pic ture that
highlights the dialogue between nature
and urban development. The cactus,
as a representative succulent plant,
originally displayed resilience in extreme
environments; however, it now faces
pollution and destruction in the urban
setting. This work poetically urges viewers
to reflect on the harm caused to the
natural world by urban development,
calling attention to ecological conservation
and prompting a reevaluation of the
symbiotic relationship between humans
and nature.
