Ңٙࠬ౻݊͟ຟ˪ଡ଼ϓٙfίԴ͜ኈ˥ձॷੵε My landscapes are made of fragments. After working with
ᇅࡑ ϋܝdҢ൳Ը൳زఄdΪމҢࣛ੬੻̓દԟԬ ink and paper for many years, I grew frustrated by having
Silos ᐲጞ೥ЪdШϞࣛࡉึϞɓԬʃϾϞሳٙ७ଣձ to throw away bad paintings which sometimes had small,
145Ò175cm interesting textures and details hidden inside. Recently,
୚ືᒯᔛί༁ࠦf௰ڐdҢක֐שᙲԟԬ୚ືձ I started to photograph those details and textures, and
ᅰЗΙՏ reassemble them with digital tools into large collages,
Digital Print ७ଣd್ܝ͜ᅰЗʈՈਗ̴਼ࡁࠠอଡ଼Υϓɽۨܳ landscapes of fragments, which I then printed. The “Silos”

artwork is one of those collages, representing shores of
ʕɓࡈܳ൨Ъۜd˾ڌഹၽᝄᚆᏉٙऎ֦dϾՉ Orchid Island, in Taiwan, which itself has a complex
͉ԒఱՈϞూᕏeॎຟٙ˖ʷձዝ̦f fragmented culture and history.
