Description
Exotic cultures have always attracted people’s
attention and interest.
On November 19, 2019, despite knowing that
Typhoon Hagibis would soon hit Japan, I still
went on my trip. Dialoguing with Japan’s
decorative aesthetics with the writing art of
Chinese culture, I used beehive as the topic to
respond to the contemporary trend of Japan-
craze.
With unstable weather, only a few tourists could
be seen in the streets. I seemed to heard the
singing of Su Dong-po: “Listen not to the rain
beating against the trees. Why don't you slowly
walk and chant at ease?...”
