Description

This work of running script emulates the style
of Wang Duo’s vertical scroll in the Late Ming
Period. The strokes reference Zhang Xu, Xu Wei,
Huaisu, and Fu Shan. I also incorporated cursive
clerical script to diversify the brushstrokes. In
terms of the composition, I put emphasis on the
binary opposition between empty and solid, light
and heavy, dense and loose, rise and fall, and large
and small, hoping to re�lect the inner thoughts
through my writing.
