            Description
In the fall of 2016, together with my fellow artists, I happened to visit the city of Datong. We
all were delighted with what we saw and admired the abilities of the old craftsmen.
The day was overcast but in spite of the weather it was crowded, my artist friends and I sat
down and each of us painted to capture what we saw.
Suddenly women with bright umbrellas and in their national costumes
appeared in front of us and began dancing in front of stunned audience.
How beautiful she was! Among the boring mass of tourists in cloudy weather, these women
were a gift from heaven sent to us. All who were there obviously became more cheerful than
before at that moment. I remembered this incident and by remembering these lovely moms,
I was able to capture them in my work. Thank them for that.
Most important thing is, I painted them with umbrellas descending from heaven to please
all around even the gods! The meaning of this picture is how you can change your life with a
simple kind of good behavior. و೥
Dunhuang is a city China’s northwestern Gansu Province, on the edge of the Gobi Desert.
Once was a frontier garrison on the Silk Road, it’s known today for the Mogao Caves, a
complex of 492 grottoes adorned with Buddhist statuary and frescoes.
Carved into the cliffs above the Dachuan River, the caves were created between the 4th and
the 14th centuries, The Dunhuang Museum displays manuscripts and carvings discovered Printmaking
at the Mogao Caves. Stalls at the local night market sell street food, jade carvings and other
            handicrafts.
The White Horse Pagoda is a Buddhist monument built in the 4th century. South of the city
at Crescent Lake oasis, Dunhuang Folk Museum has exhibits on local culture.
Visitors can explore the nearby Singing Sand Mountains (sand dunes) on camels or in 4x4s.
͎ፋdί଺ग़༁ᛇؚ Mothers, Who Delight in Gods و၇j຿Ι
