Biennial (Japan, Beppu City Art Museum) Description
Seeking another way to present the art of watercolors, I employed semi-automatic
techniques, injecting western skills into Chinese art. It is hoped that through
integration and innovation, existing boundaries can be expanded to permit a
western painting with the effects of ink painting. The texture and layers of snow in
the high mountains complement each other with their dark and bright arrangement.
The mist and clouds provide a sense of immense tranquility and calm.
