Description
The horse's head presents a gender-neutral
but skinny appearance. My work shows the
ambiguous status of horse because they are
not commonly seen today. On the other hand, I
tried to initiate a discussion about the subject-
object relationship between humans and
animals, and thus added gender to the horse-
head part. It breaks a steady state, showing a
face with a smile-like expression. Is it viewing
our lives with a true smile? Or is it mourning
something?
