Description
The artist studied the running and cursive
script skills of renowned calligraphers WANG
Xizhi and WANG Xianzhi from the Southern
and Northern dynasties and MI Fei in the Song
dynasty. In this piece, Mr. FANG tried to fully
showcase what a brush made of long goat
and wolf's hair can deliver by demonstrating
the heavy wet brush to super-dry brush with a
swift arrangement of heavy and light strokes.
He hopes that he can develop his own style
by emulating the traditional techniques.
