名 to be or not to be
Description
This piece aims to interpret the fear and
helplessness when you fall. The limbs of a
body can expand to cover the largest area, and
showcase strength. Hands symbolize ability.
Therefore, when the hands fall, it indicates a
sense of failure, loss and foreboding. This image
is an attempt to illustrate the passion evoked by
death and fate in tragedies, showing the internal
conflict and struggle as the line "to be or not to
be" in Hamlet conveys. The reflections on the
water indicate the shadow of the ego that is
suppressed and hidden, depicting the contrast
between positive, negative, reality and fantasy.
Lines of different lengths, yet in the same direction, -3 Thoughts on Falling 145.5 97cm
further accentuate the fact that this dynamic piece
is different from a static photograph. The lines are
also similar to light rain, washing away restlessness
and anxiety from the soul. 189
