Description
For many years, I have been practicing scripts from different
sources, such as the Regular script from the Wei dynasty
(graves) and scripts carved on rocks. I thus understand the
development of calligraphy; people originally were focused
on the Regular script and switched to the Clerical script. In
addition, I often practice calligraphy based on texts written by
the scholar Shen Mei Sou (1850-1922). Therefore, I combined
the ancient script style with simplified skills to present my
own new style. Calligraphy practice is not only an artistic
medium for me. I not only read the outline of calligraphy but
also its spirit. I would like to create more innovative works that
will be powerful, traditional, delicate, modern and balanced.
