On the bare branches of leafless trees, small
homes are built, unaffected by the cold
weather. Though small and modest, these
homes are sturdy and comfortable, where
sparrows rest, lay eggs, hatch chicks, and
nurture them. The sparrows guard their
homes, live harmoniously, and care for and love
each other. No matter how cold the winter, it
will pass, and together they await the coming
of spring. Even from barren branches, buds will
sprout, and flowers will bloom anew.
