This work is inspired by the painting "Bee
and Tiger" by the Qing dynasty artist HUA
Yan, depicting a timid tiger, with the five
poisonous creatures and common garcinia in
the backdrop. The color palette of black, gray,
and white symbolizes rational philosophical
thoughts, while contrasting yellow and
purple highlight the main character in the
composition. The deliberate misplacement of
black and white triangular leaf clusters subtly
implies insights into the intertwined nature of
fortune and misfortune in life.
