I want to chronicle memory through a vintage
way, recording the usual scenes and events
whenever I return to Grandma’s house. The
painting is titled “Playful,” as I want to express
myself at an innocent young age. Whenever I
saw some interesting or unique things, I’d like to
hold it in my hands or touch it. This is the most
vivid childhood memory I have. I have grown
up now, and often times, I forget my innocent
self in the face of many difficulties in reality. I
want to convey to viewers that “you must timely
rediscover your truest self.”
