The day is noisy and full of life; the night is
quiet with hidden lights. It is the depiction of the
difference between day and night, contemplation
on their relation, and record of life, representing
my different feelings brought by day and night.
The dark night represents rest and relaxation,
as I hope to convey the tranquil atmosphere
of night through the work. Thinking about the
day’s problems in front of the window, my mind
gradually clears up, and the restless heart slowly
calms down. Perhaps this tranquility is the
blessing from the night.
