Description
Withered lotus branches are the abandoned
beauty of summer. Rolled up pieces of garbage are
disposed values of men. Sharing similar fates, they
end up in this cold pond, and their twisted and
wicked forms are accusations of time’s devastation.
This work is a collage of the twisted lines of
withered lotus branches and irregular forms of
pieces of garbage to present the fluid visuality of
ink painting. It seems poetic, but is really a lying
farce, where virtual images replaces the truth.
Withered lotus, garbage, and calligraphy and
painting correspond one another, and forging or
forged forms and shapes are sarcastic reflections on
the real environment.
