Description
The family has been making rice cakes for three
generations. Every Chinese New Year, the entire
family is mobilized to work in the heated and
humid environment. Through teamwork, all
three generations of the family jointly complete
the product of rice cakes. This is an example of
“generations live together and siblings love and
care for each other” in earlier agricultural society,
which has become rather uncommon in today’s
society.
