Description
The painting is composed based on low-chroma
existing objects, with assumed locations of
disappeared objects with higher chroma. Existing
objects are layered through tempera technique,
using the medium’s unique property of thickness to
accentuate the texture of transparent watercolor,
as well as the brushstrokes of watercolor applied
on tempera. Utilizing the different brushstrokes of
different media, I record the disappearances and
existences perceived in life.
