Description
The watercolor painting is an expressive portrait.
The ocean in the painting stretches endlessly
into distance, and seems especially tranquil and
peaceful when the waves are calm. The space
woven by blue and white echoes the subject’s sailor
suit to make viewers perceive the beauty of leisure
in a breezy summer afternoon, soothing their
irritated emotions. The work presents sophisticated
brushwork through realist depiction, adding
