CHEN Bo-Zhi

Description
Lotus flower is a common theme depicted
by people in the past. Through meticulous
painting technique, I painted this work on silk
and introduced principles of design for my
composition, allowing the large lotus owers and
dot-shaped black-winged stilts to form a contrast
that gives the painting a visual charm. Inheriting
the techniques and spirit of Song dynasty’s
meticulous painting technique, I try to pioneer
new looks of meticulous lotus owers!
