            CHOU Ho-Shan
            Description
Five-character quatrain "Picture of Fallen Flowers
and Fish" by Qing poet Yun Shou-ping. Fusing
greater seal script with bronze inscription script in
an attempt to innovate new style from traditions.
A touch of cursive script further adds agility and
vitality. The unadorned style resembles the rst two
lines of the poem: "Remain still in breeze, red rain
of owers." The work presents a spiritual tranquility.
The running script and blank spots reflect the
scene of "fish jumps out of waves, disrupting a
pond of spring," presenting a vivid image of the sh
and creating unlimited visual vitality and rhythm.
