KAO Mei-Chuan
Description
The "As Long as I Grow Up" series aims to explore
the theme of life, and comprises of ve paintings.
From sitting, standing, jumping, dancing alone, to
kneeling, the ve paintings can be put together or
be regarded as independent works, symbolizing
children's relationship with their families and the
society; they are connected by blood and emotions,
yet each individual remains independent.
Part 3 is a continuation of Par 1 and Part 2, and
expresses that an individual must live in the
moment and know how to transcend; we play the
roles of bridge, as well as those who transcend.
