of Taichung City - Ink Wash Painting Category In the old days, scholars used bonsai trees or manmade landscapes to
soothe their spiritual needs. The sight of a bonsai immediately brings
nature to the doorstep. In this painting, I arranged bonsai trees, miniature
artificial hills and rocks along with taro plants to present a modern version
of "God and Objects" with a touch of the surreal. 247
