Beautiful, but vulnerable, butterflies escape
to where they don't belong, perhaps out of
protest or desolation. Can anybody hear their
silent screams of despair? The artist visualizes
her inner turbulence with tree roots intertwined
in the background, an attempt to express her
heartfelt sense of injustice triggered by a series
of manmade destruction.
