Description
This content consists of inspiring phrases from famous poets. The artist selected
pottery and porcelain as his carving materials due to the rising price of stone,
which can be a heavy financial burden on seal-engraving beginners, in his
opinion. Thus, he hopes to break material boundaries by utilizing local materials,
helping ensure that the art of seal engraving takes root and thrives“locally”-
literally also meaning“original soil”in Chinese.
