Description
The mangrove is a vigorous and resilient plant
that fights for survival in dire environments.
This painting uses a semi-abstract style to
illustrate the marsh where kandelia plants,
mudskippers, fiddler crabs live. The work
also boldly disassembles and reconstructs
different colors and lines. By appropriately
manipulating the sense of aesthetics, this
painting creates the spatial layers used to
adorn the image and accentuate its feeling.
