Flower is often referred to as the incarnation
of wisdom and truth. Nowadays, with all the
negative news, our society is like a barren field
covered by weed. The society constantly pursues
fame and gains, and ignorant grass has grown
throughout. Harmony and peace of our society
require “no ignorant grass growing on the field of
heart, wisdom flowers blossoming everywhere.”
Those who constantly grow ignorant grass within
stand by Buddha for a peek of the wisdom flower,
but they forget that all coins have two sides.
Wisdom flower does not blossom in those whose
field of heart is covered by ignorant grass; one
needs to tame the mind and achieve tranquility
and peace for wisdom flower to blossom in the
barren field.
