Description
This work is created after I gained a more
objective understanding of the relationship
between myself and surrounding people, things,
and events.
I like being alone; it is a hidden mental trait
of mine, which also becomes a barrier of
socialization.
The sculpture’s hands are in the back, as if
shackled and cannot move. For the lower part
of the body, I made use of many latches, and
the structure highlights the feeling of being
restricted. Overall, the work presents a sense of
wanting to break through but being trapped in
the current situation.
