Description
John Berger mentions in “About Looking” that
animals are a silent mirror, re ecting the details
of human life.
Stray dogs in suburban Taipei run around, relieve
themselves, and mate on the grassland. Natural
and free, they put their own animal nature on
full display, and are alerted by men. Looking at
my posture and reaction shaped by the limited
living space in the city, I am like a domesticated
pet dog.
This is my reflection on the relationships
between men and men, men and objects, and
men and environment.
