Description
Conceptualized through existing terms, depicted
using contrasting images.
The work's theme is "smiling tiger (friendly on the
outside, cruel on the inside)." Naive sometimes is
both innocent and cruel, just like children having
a hard time controlling their strength; too much
is as bad as not enough{cruelty of innocence.
Presenting the powerful contrast between the
child-like smiling face and tiger print body, and
the playful tearing of life, this work depicts the
visual impression that converts the con icting and
coexisting e ects of "innocent cruelty."
