                                           Description - Additional Works 1.2.3

Green Project – The Environmental Art Creation
Environmental protection is originally a kind of friendly intervention of men. Artists respond to the issues we face in this world through
creations, providing ways to respond or resolve them. This is the social responsibility of artists.
For this series of works, I collected scrap wood materials, which were then glued together. I then carved them into sculptures. The
squashed aluminum foil packages and recycled scrap wood materials all embody the symbolic meanings of used, old, and unwantedn
through double insinuation and cross-subordination, the concept of "sustainable utilization" is strengthened. The truth is, regardless
of forests or trees, or any other creatures, they all have reproducibility; they replace the old with the new. Through reasonable
management and utilization, these are all resources that will not run out. The basic principle is to maintain the balance between
production and replacement; more importantly, it all depends on the users' "mindset!"
Although assemblagists in the mid 20th century are long gone, we still face bad survival conditions today, such as the rise of
consumerism, omnipresent media's monopoly and dominance over people's life and thinking, excessive wastes of civilization, scarcity
of resources, and climate changenThe world has not changed for the better! We must admit, capitalism is the most productive social
structure in history; it also has the strongest buying power. However, it is also true that rapid and excessive consumption has further
                                           pushed people apart.
Through concrete creative practice, I force viewers to look at the truth, and imply the contradictions in the consumer culture
of capitalist society, and the absurdity of the manipulation of ideology! This is just a beginning, as I hope to trigger people's re-
examination on the relationship between men and objects. This is what I really want to see.
