Hall to portray the exhibition's great artistic strength which has been accumulating for a quarter of a century.
The Da Dun Fine Arts Exhibition was established with the aim of nurturing and rewarding exceptional local artists in
Taichung. It then expanded and started receiving submissions from foreign artists, thereby reinforcing the exhibition's
connection with the international art scene as it continued to inject diversity and vitality into Taiwan's artistic creations.
Following the construction completion of the Taichung Green Museumbrary{designed by Kazuyo Sejima, a Pritzker
Architecture Prize Laureate{the city's soft powers in the form of arts and cultures are expected to be further enhanced, and
as the vision of "art without borders" is realized, a new milestone will be marked for the artistic culture of Taichung as the city
becomes a new benchmark for widened perspectives in contemporary art.
Artistic sense is something that needs to be built up over time, gradually and continuously. It requires diligent nurturing
to take root and exposure to different cultures to gradually increase its richness and profundity. From October 31, 2020
