Description
I execute my creative project through the “Exclusive Interview
Series,” talking face-to-face with the subjects of my portraits. From
preset questions, I collect the responses of my subjects and keep
written records, and come up with the expressive formats for these
subjects based on the written records and my understanding of the
subjects, and design their personal pictures.
In terms of expression, the subjects are intentionally presented
through pure ink; half intentionally, I use lines to express the
subjects, and through layering of ink patches, rendering, and lat- ኈ
application, I present them through simpli ied strokes and blanks.
In terms of composition, I use the photographs taken during the
interviews, and the subjects and their pictures share complementary
relationships; neither of the subjects or pictures are the main
themes of the paintings. Another key expressive element is the Ink Wash Painting
empty spots, giving the paintings more tension and attractiveness.
The repeatedly pictorialized expressions are the language compiled
from the written records that can be pictorialized, and through
complicated and orderly arrangements, I construct scenes that echo ɛيஞሔࠇྌ-Ϟқᗴਕᚑ̔ٙเā125Ò100cm
the subjects. Character Interview Plan: Miss Yang, Who Has Volunteer Service Honor Card.
