Those signs must be from the '50s and '60s. The "mom and pop" shop is small
but carries a variety of goods. It's been around for six decades as time goes
by. Convenience stores have now replaced most mom and pop shops. The
owner said, "Luckily my shop is in the rural mountains; though it's not open 24
hours a day, it still provides services for the area." 83
