3) All awards (including monetary awards, trophies and award certificates) will be withdrawn if the individual
artist is found to have violated the general rules and regulations of this event. Their awards will be canceled
and relevant legal action will be taken.
4) Organizers shall be responsible for the safekeeping of exhibited works. However, in the case of
unexpected disasters, organizers will not be bound to this obligation or liable for any losses.
5) Insurance: The insurance period for artworks begins on the day submissions are received and continues
to the final day scheduled for retrieving submitted works. The insurance amount (maximum amount of
indemnity) will be NT$20,000 for each disqualified piece, and NT$60,000 for each award-winning piece.
However, unforeseen incidents which are beyond the control of organizers will free the organization from all
legal compensation.
6) Submissions shall be made in agreement with and accordance to the rules and regulations listed on
application forms.
7) Artists awarded Da Dun Prizes must produce certificates to vouch for the originality and authenticity of
their works.
12. Notes:
1) For domestic award winners residing in cities north of Hsinchu County (excluding Hsinchu itself) or south
of JiaYi county (excluding JiaYi itself) who wish to attend the award ceremony, organizers will provide free
hotel accommodation for the evening of the ceremony.
2) For overseas and mainland Chinese artists who are awarded one of the top three prizes in any category,
organizers will provide three nights of free hotel accommodation so that they can attend the award
ceremony.
3) For overseas and mainland Chinese artists, organizers will cover the cost of the return shipment of
submitted pieces.
13. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend and/or supplement this document if necessary. Any
modifi cations will be posted on our website, on the home page under the “News Update” button.
