Description
Adopting the Chinese Bronze script commonly
seen on Shang-Zhou inscriptions, the artist
tried to integrate the smooth, glamorous and
wild, yet meticulous, styles found in Mao
Gong Ding-three-legged bronze vessels of
the Western Zhou dynasty. The masterly
arrangement of dry and wet brushes with a
goat-hair brush created an interesting and
lively "painting" of calligraphy.
